EDR successfully completes oversight for bp’s Egypt OBN survey
We recently completed the final deliverables for the Atoll OBN (Ocean Bottom Node) survey on behalf of bp Egypt and JV partner Pharaonic Petroleum Company.
The Atoll OBN survey was the first use of deepwater ROV OBN in the Nile Delta and it was a complicated and challenging project. EDR deployed a team of nine consultants to support the survey, looking after bp’s needs and interests throughout. Importantly, we also provided remote high level marine oversight and project management supported by CheckPoint v.2 to integrate the project data and to ensure a high-quality acquisition data set.
